About these terms
These terms apply to all ticket bookings made through the MIKMA website (mikma.org). By completing a booking you agree to these terms. Please read them before purchasing.
MIKMA (Malayalee Association of Milton Keynes) is a community association based in Milton Keynes, United Kingdom.
Tickets and booking
- All ticket sales are final. Please check the event details carefully before purchasing.
- Your ticket confirmation and QR code will be sent to the email address provided at checkout.
- Tickets are personal and non-transferable unless we state otherwise.
- You must present your QR code (printed or on screen) for entry. Lost or forgotten tickets can be recovered by contacting us before the event.
- MIKMA reserves the right to refuse entry if a ticket cannot be verified.
Refunds and cancellations
- Tickets are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled or significantly changed by MIKMA.
- If MIKMA cancels an event, a full refund will be issued to the original payment method within 10 working days.
- If an event is postponed, your ticket will remain valid for the new date. If you cannot attend the new date, contact us and we will consider a refund on a case by case basis.
- MIKMA is not responsible for any travel, accommodation, or other costs you may have incurred.
Children and age categories
- Child tickets are for attendees aged 5 to 15 years.
- Children under 5 attend free of charge but must be registered during booking for capacity planning.
- Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.
Photography and video
MIKMA events are photographed and filmed for community and promotional purposes. By attending, you acknowledge that you may appear in photographs or video shared on our website and social media channels. If you have specific concerns, please contact us before the event.
Photography consent is collected explicitly during the booking process.
Behaviour at events
- MIKMA expects all attendees to treat others with respect and dignity.
- MIKMA reserves the right to remove any person from an event without a refund if their behaviour is deemed disruptive, offensive, or unsafe.
Liability
- MIKMA takes all reasonable steps to ensure events run safely and as advertised.
- MIKMA is not liable for any loss, injury, or damage sustained at an event unless caused directly by our negligence.
- In the unlikely event that circumstances beyond our control (including but not limited to venue issues, severe weather, or safety concerns) require us to cancel or alter an event, MIKMA will not be held liable beyond the face value of tickets purchased.
Payments
All payments are processed securely by Stripe. MIKMA does not store your card details. Prices are displayed in GBP and include any applicable fees.
